INDUCED ABORTION AFFECTS THE WORLD!!!!

An abortion is the termination of a pregnancy by the removal or expulsion of an embryo or the fetus from the uterus resulting in or caused by its death. An abortion can occur spontaneously due to complications during pregnancy (miscarriages) or can be induced.  Induced abortion is simply the deliberate termination of pregnancy. The thought of having an abortion (in a typical African society) on a greater scale implies the pregnancy was not intended. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), ‘every year in the world there are estimated 40-50million abortions. 

This corresponds to approximately 125,000 abortions per day.

Medical records show that potential or more serious complications following an abortion include;

• Heavy or persistent bleeding, 

• infection or sepsis, 

• damage to the cervix, 

• damage to other organs, 

• perforation of the uterus and 

• death among others. 

Today however, I am more concerned with the end result of every induced abortion; let’s say the woman undertaking this act comes out healthy, does the whole tale end there? No it shouldn’t!

The need for increased human capital is a now a worldwide anthem, however we quickly forget that within each individual is a natural gift/skill that can transform the world! This applies to all unborn children that were not given the opportunity to serve the world. No wonder Ella Grasso (1919 - 1989), a US politician said and I quote “I'm opposed to abortion because I happen to believe that life deserves the protection of society.” My message today is simple, induced abortion is affecting the world by seizing its opportunity of having agents of change
